The xxx that is really important with my question/your help is that she is extremely loyal. . .no cheating. . .no . . .no communication. . .a very standup person when it comes to a relationship. . ..so out of the blue about x months ago I receive a text with her number saying "hey -- is this still your number?". . .I respond. . .yes and she replies back "I just wanted to let you know I was thinking about ya". . ..I wrote a little text back saying how much she made my day by reaching out and that I missed her and that I thought since I had not heard from her that maybe she was mad at me for some reason. . .I had not been perfect along the way and wanted to see if we could meet for a cup of coffee and just catch up on things. I left her with my address and she said thanks and she would try to get around to emailing me some day. x weeks later she sends a little with general things about her family and tells me she is engaged. . ..and I replied back that I was happy for her. . .but I would like to meet for an " cup of coffee". . .just to see how things have been for her over the last x years. Well we emailed back and forth . . ..maybe once a month to each other until we finally meet for a cup of coffee. . .these went on for about x months. . .and we finally met at a little subdued coffee shop and just sat on an outside bench up. There was nothing earth shattering that was said. . .nothing like a real . . .just x friends up. I did ask her if she missed me and she kind of stated "she felt a little guilty that she was here with me". . .our coffee get-together lasted about an hour but I could tell she was a little /shy/awkward. xxx last point before my question is she was always extremely hard to read and I never really knew what she thought of me. . .although she did like me. . .but we always said to each other that were not right for each other. . .but I was always extremely upfront and very complimentary to her. . .and I always showed quite a bit of emotion. . .but no "I love you talk". . ..my question is why would you think she would reach out to me after not communicating with me for x years and getting engaged in the process (and being unbelievably loyal with her fianc) . . .sending me a text. . .(okay that might have been a xxx off of the moment thing). . .but she had time to think about following up with an . . .to at a later date ( x months later) meeting me for coffee? Her fianc did not know about us getting together. I just think there might be more to her reaching out? She knows if she reaches out to me to tell me "I was thinking about ya". . .with her being engaged and writing that to me after not hearing from her for x years. . .that is going to trigger my optimism a little. . .I just does not make sense to me. . .I just don't think she would reach out to me after not hearing from her for so long. . .especially with her being engaged unless there was something more to the puzzle?
